The scale this morning showed me 50lbs lost since starting this journey.

Also, I officially weigh less than my husband. Today is a good day!

Hooray!  I remember how great it felt to reach that 50 pound milestone myself.  It felt like something important, something real, something to brag about and celebrate.  Good for you!

About the husband: several OH posts have mentioned how good it felt to reach the "less-than-husband" milestone. So i made that a milestone for me too.  I am still working toward THAT one.  He weighs just 168.  :-)

ack, well good for him!  My husband told me he'd make it hard for me, and actually lost two pounds, or I would have passed him last week.  unfortunately, he's in Copenhagen for two weeks for work, and I suspect that the real "danish" pastries will ensure he gains that back and some.

I'd really love to push him to consider weight loss surgery, even though his BMI is under 40, his diabetes and cholesterol is so bad, he would definitely qualify.  He's resistant to surgery for himself, but he's very supportive of me.  I just hope that my life changes have a lasting effect on him and our kids, and that MAYBE, just maybe when he sees my success he'll either make a push to lose 60lbs on his own or decide to go with the surgery.

How exciting!!!  I have like 30 something lbs to go to weigh less then my husband.  But he keeps losing weight because I cook mostly low carb.  I told him he needs to STOP LOSING so I can have a chance to be smaller then his skinny butt! Lol

Congratulations! My goal is to weigh less than my husband too. Only 50 or so pounds to go. Sometimes I hate his ability to maintain a bmi of 20.
