Dumping, or something else? (Possible TMI for the squeamish)
Have you ever read the Amazon reviews for sugar free gummy bears? There is one that a tear-inducingly funny.
I always say that sugar free gummy bears make a great gift for non-sugar eating people that you hate.

I woke up in between a memory and a dream...

Last year I had a miserable cold. Tried to control coughing with sugar free ricola. Helped with the cough and then it hit. I was at work. Had to put an out of order sign on the restroom to assure access and did not leave the vicinity for a few hours. Staff suggested I head home. That did not seem prudent. This is before surgery. Everyone on staff knew of my travails. At a younger age, I would have been mortified. Ricola is now my sworn enemy.
I am now avoiding anything rice for the rest of my life. I just had an episode that lasted for 2 months that stemmed from consuming a "high protein" cheese curl (which was made from rice). I had a blockage (I didn't realize it was a blockage) which ultimately rendered me unable to eat or drink anything and having emergency surgery. Feel much better now, but in my eyes rice is the devil!

Oh geez, I don't blame you! I guess I should just be happy things are moving at all!
No, not dumping. If I have a day with too many carbs, I get a similar reaction.
That'll teach you.

I had a similar experience (not quite as dramatic, thankfully) after trying some dried coconut slices. Coupled with the fact that I tried my first cup of coffee that day, too...needless to say: "ugh".
