What's on Your (photo) Friday Menu, RNYers?
Good morning everyone and Happy Friday.
Today my photos are in honor of our fallen heroes as we remember the sad day and events of 14 years ago. My Dad was a retired Captain of 38 years on the San Diego Fire Department, and though he is gone now he is remembered and revered in the firefighting community here. All fire stations in the city are providing free pancake breakfasts to the community, and I hope be able to stop by on my morning break just to give them some support and a hug.
Anyway I'd like to say thank you to all the First Responders that risk their lives to saves other's lives every day. You are all heroes in my book.

Love the pics, you guys! It's been a while since I posted a pic, but I am wearing these cute (SIZE 8!) jeans today and snapped a selfie.
So I have taken up a new type of workout called SolidCore. They have studios in NY and DC and OMG it's amazing. It's all done on a Pilates Reformer type of machine and the whole goal is muscle FAILURE. Lots of planks, squats, lunges, arms...I leave there and I am shaking. I am hoping to see some changes in my body. I am five months out from my breast lift and lower body lift and I just paid the deposit for my arm lift in a month. EEK. With my travel schedule, I basically am having the arm lift and then 17 days later I am off to Orlando and seven days after that, Rome. So I hope I bounce back as quickly as I did with my LBL. I am hoping it's a piece of cake.
Since I am going to an Indian wedding for the entire weekend, my menu is mostly up in the air. But here is my start:
B: iced coffee with half and half, one hard boiled egg, 1.5 oz havarti cheese, 6 green olives
S: Special K brownie (80 calories but don't bother - it's only 80 calories because it's like one inch wide and one millimeter tall)
L: The insides of a Potbelly turkey sandwich with hot peppers
D: Something Indian and delicious - likely chicken. And wine.
E: 50 minutes of death, I mean, SolidCore.
Have a great weekend, all!
You look great. And, I am jealous of your weekend plans... an Indian wedding sounds like so much fun! I know there is lots of pomp and ceremony, dancing, food and fun!
And I hope your arm lift goes well. Please post lots of pictures like you did with your other plastics. It is so helpful and inspiring to see the transformation. You will do fine with it... you were a trooper for the big surgery... this will be a walk in the park.
I am SO excited - tonight is a cultural celebration and we will get henna tattoos and I am somehow roped into doing an Indian dance! Tomorrow the groom rides in on a horse. It's going to be an epic weekend! And yes, I plan on doing lots of before and afters for the arm lift. From what I can read on here, I can expect to not even be able to lift my arms to wash my hair or brush my teeth, so that is slightly concerning. I am going to have to be super sweet to people at the airport and ask them to lift my bags for me!
Amazing! Have fun at the wedding!
