Jejunal Diverticulum

I had an RNY I 2003 and never had any issues.  I lost 100 pounds and have kept my weight stable for years.  About 8 months ago I gained 5 pounds with no change in eating habits. A few months after that, I started losing weight without trying. I've now lost 15 pounds in the past 5 months.  For the past few months I have been having bouts of nausea, vomiting and stomach pain. After a CT scan and endoscopy, my doctor says I have a jejunal diverticulum which needs to be surgically corrected. I've looked at a few other posts that mention this condition but I don't see any follow up other than getting into discussions about a revision. I never thought I would ever say this, but I don't want to lose more weight.  I know something needs to be done because its getting to the point I'm in pain more often than not. It's been 12 years, who would have thought there would be issues after all these years. Has anyone else had this issue come up and what did you do about it?

Google SIBO - and make sure the doc checks you for that.
