You absolutely can lose after the first year. Many lose during the second year. I know one person who kept grinding and didn't hit her low weight until 7 years.

But. Most people do stop losing with the first year and a half. The problem is, you are all healed, feel good, you are able to eat more, and you've been worn out from concentrating on eating well for so long. And you start eating more at meals, start grazing in between meals, and maybe start drinking while you eat, or even start drinking calories.

There is absolutely no reason you can't continue losing after the first year. It just gets harder, human nature being what it is.

I hit my lowest weight 10 years out. Yes the largest amount was year one but I continued to lose just slower. Then at year 5 I just stopped and maintained , then at year 10 another 15 pounds . You will always have your tool. Just have to learn how to use it. Never give up

It is possible, but it will never be as easy as the first six months.  If you still want to lose another 65lbs, you are going to have to commit to it wholeheartedly.

Even at 11 years out, I can still lose 2 lbs a week but I have to really work at it ...

I definitely is more difficult, but I continued to lose weight until I hit my goal at 16 months out.  I am maintaining my goal weight after nearly 2 years out.  I go up a pound or two one week, and then immediately lose what I gained the week after.  This definitely keeps me in check.  Best of luck!
