You can do this!!!! I am hating it also but it is so worth it..... My surgery is the 16th a week from today. We can do this!!! I used plain greek yogurt in my shake last night with some sugar free nestle quick and made a chocolate shake. It wasn't too bad. I made it really thick so I ate it with a spoon. I pretend it's icecream or a frosty. Mind over matter! Hang in there, we are all here for you and in this together.

If you are still a week and a half from surgery, how long have you been drinking the shakes? Most people only have a 2 week liquid diet (and some have none), so if you are this sick of the shakes after only half a week, you are in for a long few weeks (including post-op time).
My best suggestion (other than the obvious "you just have to suck it up") is to try the chicken soup flavored protein powder from Unjury (but be aware that the sodium content on it is VERY high and might temporarily cause you to retain water) and try the fruit flavored nectar protein powders from Syntrax (those are like a thicker version of Crystal Light rather than being milky, and they come in a bunch of flavors (they have a sample pack available)). The Roadside Lemonade is a popular flavor (if you like lemonade, of course).
