What's On Your Tuesday Menu, RNYers?
I get them from my fabulous gay friends who are amateur chefs ;) In all reality, these guys are such good cooks, and they texted me the menu (they are always making me great protein forward options) and we are grilling on their roof. I would imagine you could buy chicken breast and cube it up and brush them with pesto (Trader Joe's makes a good one) and grill them up! I will ask them their recipe tonight :)
Yay for Dad for keeping all of your old stuff! Glad you were able to find lots of stuff. I am finally going to have to go shopping soon... my underwear and bras are getting ridiculous! And, I need leggings, which will last through a few sizes.
I think I have decided to get out the sewing machine to try to make sure easy tops while transitioning. I am having such problems finding tops that are long enough to cover GiGi (growth, gut) since she is steadily moving downwards and becoming more localized. My abdomen is quite a bit larger on the right side and looks almost like there is a hernia or "something" blob like there... hence my use of the term, growth. It will be a topic of discussion during my 6 mth doctor's appointment.
My weekend was okay... I don't know where I had heard that the weather was going to be great, but it stormed on Saturday and Sunday but Monday was a pristine, pre-fall day. Just beautiful outside. We had a quiet time at home. Hubby got through his issues with no rehab, but he still needs to go (my opinion). He is in a pain management program, which I personally feel is is legal dealer, but he does experience a lot of pain, but also LOVES pain pills... but, this is no longer my problem, because I am now going to figure out how to take positive action for me instead of having reactions to him. Why can't I just have a normal problems like everyone else!!!! LOL! Anyway, the weekend was survived. And, scale victory... down 3 more lbs. And, remember, I am on a slightly different journey... I may be below 300 soon! I looked up the onderland equivalent of getting down to the 200s and the consensus is, twoterville... which I don't like! So, someone come up for a positive, less flatuence sounding name for being under 300 lbs... please!! LOL!

Death of a box of chocolate donuts: A Memorial
I love Entemans Chocolate donuts (not the white cake w/ choc frosted ones, but the dark chocolate ones with chocolate frosting) any ways, I hadn't had one in about a year, and I was in this upscale grocery store and there they were... a box of eight... Back in the day, I wouldn't have hesitated, this time I hesitated, passed them by, and couldn't stop thinking about them during the hr long grocery shopping...well I caved and went back and got them. Previously I'd have eaten about 6, and the DH 2...maybe. Anyways, you shoulda seen his face when he saw them... Shock... he knew I was pushing my willpower limits. This was Fri. I ate one in the parking lot... it lived up to my memory... but then my gut started to ache by the end of the night. The DH ate half a donut...really ...half...and left the other half in box. That eve even though my stomach hurt to no end... I ate his other "half". The next day at lunch I pulled out another to split with my son, only he doesn't like chocolate, so I ate both halves, again stomach still hurting from previous stupidity. This was really going to far... that eve I told DH, I was throwing them away, he said no he'd hide them. OK, six hrs later...still sitting there staring at me, it was like they were constantly calling to me. I took the rest of box opened them up, and threw them all in the garbage without the box. I threw other "wet food trash" on top of them, and took out the bag outside to the big can. I could see myself fishing them back out, that was how bad this thing had got in my head. Anyways its over now, and I will never put myself through that again. I have eaten off plan before, but it is generally at most a single serving of something. This was just plain stupid to bring a whole package of one of my previous "addictions" in the house. Why go there??!!?!?
And my son started Kindergarten today, so that was emotional tear filled mess as well, but that's another story.
Back on plan!
B-Protein coffee
L- 3 oz seafood salad
S- 2 Oz cheese Curds
D- Chicken something
H20 & Vits: working it.
Have a great day all & may you continue to over come destructive behaviors with success!
