What's On Your Tuesday Menu, RNYers?
I SO WISH I had a stash of clothes somewhere....anywhere that I could raid!! But I have NEVER been this size in my whole adult life! lol
Our weekend went well, "baby" boy's birthday party was fun...he had a blast. We went to the fair, and the little ones LOVED getting to see all the animals etc!

I got my electronic results from my first blood work and apparently my protein levels are down.....I eat 5-6 times a day, and I eat protein first, I eat until "full" (more like satisfied).....how the heck do I add more protein? I worry (probably needlessly??) about adding another protein "shake"...it would really bring my calories up....and I being crazy? ugh
Try the premier protein ready made shakes... they are a tad expensive (I think) but I rely on them... 30 grams protein, 160 calories. My hair is falling out less since I started using them. I don't go for my 6 mth chec****il 9/21 so I am anxious to see what my bloodwork reveals. My 3 mth levels were okay so we will see.
Yeah, I used to drink them....I would literally CHOKE them down. I honestly hate the taste!! The protein drinks I make myself (with fairlife milk and syntrax powder) have 180 calories and 32 grams of protein, and the best part, they actually taste good to me ;)
I actually HATED Premier Protein shakes up to about 4 months after surgery. But, they are okay to me now. But, I am going to get some samples of Synthrax through Nashau to try them. I honestly got very burned out on protein shakes pre-surgery because that was how I lost down to have my surgery!
And, I am hard pressed to get my tea made in the morning, let alone make a shake... hey, I have to put on make up, brush my teeth, fix my hair, etc... grabbing the ready made shakes work well for me. I don't know how I got to work, period, when my son was young.
I guess, though, that I could get a shaker bottle and make it up and just shake, shake, shake in the car on the way to work!
