I have nothing to add except like the others said , weigh food. Don't give up. Keep posting daily meals and maybe we can help.

...adding a warning to avoid one of the ways I up-ticked my way to obesity:  pre-WLS,  I would quit eating, see results by losing a bunch, resume eating, then regain the weight back plus more.

By chance, are you under a lot of stress?  How well do you sleep?  These are known to have an affect despite other good efforts.

I have a child with Autism who is 10. Very High functioning, sometimes frustrating and a 2 year-old. My major stress is not him, it is his school. He has a high IQ and is academically years ahead, but they have him in a class where everyone else is years behind. But think I am going Atkins on theirs butts this year. The candy coating is coming off. I sleep ok, but I am generally tired due to thyroid nodules.

I am busy, but nothing I can't handle.

My heart goes out to you. I have had the same problem and have suffered all my life. Had lap band surgery in 2005 and lost a substantial amount of weight. However, I still suffer from this problem. I was finally sent to a specialist in 2004 and after a battery of tests, it was discivered that I have metabolic syndrome. On top of that, I was further diagnosed with a thyroid disorder in 2009. It has taken me several years, but I have discovered that what works best for me has been a healthy form of high protein diet. Paleo works great, which is just a "clean" version of Atkins imho. It is extremely difficuly for me to lose any amount of weight and just as difficult if not more for me to maintain a minimal amount of weight loss due to my hormonal/endocrine issues. I truly hope you find someting that works for you. I plan on having my band removed soon and possibly revising to a sleeve but not sure at this time. All the best!

I also have metabolic syndrome and have a terribly difficult time losing. I can usually manage to lose 15 -20 lbs by severely restricting my carbs, and then the loss slows to a t r i c k l e. If I stick to a very low carb diet  - 20/25 grams a day, I will continue to lose but v e r y slowly. That's what I do tho - stick to low carb eating. Aside from whatever success I have losing, I just plain feel better when I keep the carbs really low.

@catis51 it is such a struggle!!! My endocrinologist has told me time and time again that I will continue to re-lose and re-gain the same 20-30 lbs forever unless I get help through revision surgery or meds. and he has been absolutely right! I continue to lose 10 gain 10, lose 25 gain 30. It has been, is, and continues to be a daily struggle, not to mention the INSANE cravings due to fluctuating hormones. I just went through sooo much with the lap band and am very hesitant to have another form if wls.

Can you please give me an example of your low carb regimen.  I should start redefining my menus.
