Hot and muggy today but Lily and I got our three miles done early anyway! On track so far with vitamins and fluids and getting ready to make a cup of pumpkin spice coffee. Post op 3 years and weight at 117.6 today. Tomorrow is my three year appointment with my surgeons PA. It is so nice to go to a doctor and not worry about the numbers on the scale. I'm going to take my before picture to remind them of what I looked like at the start of this amazing journey! I am SO grateful every day for the chance to have my surgery! Here's the food for today: B 1/2 c steel cut oats with protein powder and 5 blackberries from my garden L 31/2 oz salmon left over from dinner out and 1/2 c roasted cauliflower also leftovers S string cheese D 31/2 oz ground beef with 1/2 c sauteed zuchini S Greek yogurt with nuts. Have a great day full of smart choices everyone!

Coming here in the mornings really does help me feel a) accountable and b) accepted.  *nods*  Yesterday, for example, I was surprise-attacked by a bowl of Italian wedding soup at lunch.  I only ate half of it, but it did put me over the calorie limit I'd set for the day.  All that said, I didn't go over 800, so yay!

Today I'm going to the gym for the first time in my life.  (I'm not counting the times my mother drug me with her as a child.)  I don't have my swimsuit, etc. yet, but I am going to take a shower there, just to start getting acclimated.  (Am I the only one terrified of gyms and working out in front of others? LOL )

B: Protein shake

S: Coffee

L: Protein shake and tomato soup

S: Pureed apples and pumpkin

D: Protein shake

Cal: 670 Prot: 73.5 g H20: At least 48 ounces, as I'll be drinking all day.

Showering is an exercise, right?,

Way to go! Try and not let the gym intimidate you. Put some tunes in your ears and just go. :)
