OMG... we are on the same wavelength... I freaking bought a bag of Combos (cheddar cheese and pretzel) last night! WTF???!!! I bought nail polish, too (Essie Mink Muffs) but that didn't keep my hands out of the bag.  I ate about 2 handfuls and then spent the rest of the evening being miserable because I was way overfull.

While you are close to goal, it's my 6 month surgiversary and I didn't meet my unattainable goal of having 100 lbs off since surgery. I have 90 lbs off, why am I trying to sabotage myself? Why do I feel that I have left myself down when I lost 90 AWESOME lbs??  So, I have spotted the Bat signal and am sending out powerful vibes to fight off the Combo scourge!  Please bounce some back to me!!  I am doing a mental regroup for myself to get my act together... start exercising more and keeping my nails painted to ward off evil snack bags!

My menu today:

B: Tea with Truvia, chocolate Premier Protein shake

L: Salad with 1 oz of shredded deli roast beef and 1 oz of white american cheese with cucumber ranch dressing

S: beef jerky and during my OT hrs - a light and fit strawberry greek yogurt

D: 3 oz of mahi mahi (that I didn't eat last night because I was cramming my face full of Combos), 1/2 cup of green beans

Totals - Calories - 725, Protein - 83, Carbs - 41, Sugars - 22, Fats - 28

Vits and Water - started and going in. Exercise - who knows

Everyone have a great day and pray for us sinners in our time of need... sinners or snackers, either way!

90 LBS IN 6 MONTHS IS AMAZING!!  Don't get down on yourself for "only" losing 90 lbs.  That is more than my 9 y.o. daughter weighs!  That is 10.5 gallons of milk!  That is over two 40lb bags of dog food!  Look at this and remember how far you've come and visualize how you'll get to goal!!

I had my follow up appointment with my bariatric hospital today.  I was told I need to eat more calories (at least 1000!!!!!), and they gave me some **** about already making their goal weight.....she was like "That should have taken a year...tisk tisk"

My husband is ALWAYS telling me I need to eat more....I am like ...if I take ONE MORE BITE I will get sick....and that would be bad!  So deal with it! lol

Yay for the doctor appointment and obviously, you are doing great! They are handing you the standard party line.... blah, blah, blah. As long as your bloodwork numbers look good and you are taking all of your vitamins. There is no way that I could eat over 1000 calories right now and you are about 1 1/2 mths behind me.

I am so glad for you that you had the surgery while your kids are young and you are still so young yourself.

And, isn't it a ****** about the Kind bars? Someone said on here that they are comparable to like a Kit Kat bar but I say NO!  It still has way less sugars and they are a nice treat every now and again.  Plus, I figure you get jaw exercise from having to chew them so long!

Last thing, I promise, I have found that Hunt's spaghetti sauce (for a quick fix) are pretty good carb wise... check it out!

That was my first Kind bar, I needed a snack for my drive home from the hospital (a little longer then an hour).  It was higher in cals and carbs then I normally eat...but whatever, not something I do all the time ;)  Plus I was told to eat more!! BWHAHAHAHAHA

She suggested getting 1% or 2% milk instead of skim and putting fruit in my protein shake in the morning.

There is NO WAY I could eat 1000 calories....unless I started having like 3 kind bars a day....hmmmmm   kidding kidding

I was told to add a little fruit to my shake or to have a fruit snack in the morning, preferably berries because they are lower in sugar and higher in fiber, especially raspberries (which I don't care for) as they have significantly more fiber.

You are doing great, your calories will naturally go up as you can eat more. That kinda freaked me out when it started to happen. The only thing I see, although you have 73g protein is ...lunch and dinner are a little light on protein. If you were going to add anything add more protein not more of the veggies/salad/fruit/bars whatever....
