Dumping syndrome

It could be the sugar in milk, or it could just be a lactose intolerance.

Fat can NOT cause dumping. It can bother some people, but you can't dump on it.

I actually know a couple of people who found that their sensitivity to sugar increased as time passed, but most people find that it lessens with time (if they dump at all... Only about 30% do).

You don't drown by falling in the water. You drown by staying there.

I noticed that when I am on a very very low carb diet for a few weeks - I can dump really badly on food with very little sugars.. As if my body is desperate to get it. But when I eat more carbs - and sugars daily - I can eat much more sugar with very little effects.  And I would dump only if I eat a lot of sugar. Liquids are worse than food with sugar and fats and proteins.

Yes, liquids seem worse.  Adding another warning:  my mistake (or wishful thinking) was assuming natural sweeteners like pure maple syrup and pure honey were okay.  Drizzling pure maple syrup over a bowl of hot oatmeal made me ill.  I am not a dumper but get sick enough to avoid sugar, natural or not.
