Good Morning, everyone!  I haven't posted here in a week, and I miss it. Crazy week. Today we are driving 2 hours for my "2nd/pre-op consultation" with the surgeon. Leaving here in an hour, but have to work a few hours this morning first before we leave.

Congrats on your anniversary AV! Ours is next week but we're celebrating tonight since the town we're traveling to apparently has this really amazing Brazilian steakhouse. I've never been, but I am sure it will be easy to make good choices since there's so much meat going on!  I've been really strictly eating for the past 2 months, and am going to indulge a bit tonight and have some crème brulee.  Just in case I never get to have it again.

Surgery Status: 24 Days to go!

B:  Scrambled Eggs w/Mushrooms, Onions, & Lowfat Cheddar

S: Chocolate Premier Protein Shake

L: Light String Cheese & 2oz Sweet & Hot Beef Jerky (On the road for lunch)

D:  Brazilian steakhouse!

I hope you have great visit with your Dr. That trip to the Brazilian steakhouse sounds awesome! I'm sure you will do great with making good choices. Enjoy that crème brulee. You deserve it!

I have couple things that want to have for the last time too. One of them is a soft shell crab.

Good morning AV and menu pals,

Happy Anniversary AV, enjoy your long weekend with your Dad!  Today is my parents 50th Wedding Anniversary, I am so proud of them. My sister and I are throwing them a party in two weeks, should be a blast!

Long weekend plans... I am off today so a four day weekend for me.  Today I have a ton of running around to do and then tomorrow hubby and I are taking in a Toronto Blue Jays Baseball game. Did I tell you my husband is a baseball fanatic!  He even bought me a new Jay's hat & t-shirt for the game, gotta support our team!  Sunday is a bbq at my cousins house that I am super looking forward too, I love my cousins.  Not worried about the menu at all, my cousins are super crazy healthy, and one of them is into the whole Iron-man thing so they pretty much always serve WLS friendly food because that's how they eat on a regular basis, high protein and low carb, so I am good to go.  Monday will be the usual, laundry, clean the house, hike the dogs and relax for work on Tuesday.

Time since surgery: just shy of 22 months

B: chocolate protein shake with 1% lactose free milk

S: protein hot chocolate

L: 4oz grilled chicken over salad

S: Premier Protein shake blended with handful of frozen raspberries in the car running errands

D: Steak tonight!! Yahoo, I LOVE steak!  4oz of steak and 1/3 cup of grilled red peppers

S: roast beef and marble cheese with mustard roll ups

Totals: 1057 calories, 141 protein, 33 carbs, 40 fat (I am on a new kick of seeing if I can get close to 150 grams of protein daily)

V/W: vits done, calcium on alarms, water is good!  Its super hot and humid here, so have upped my water intake a lot

E: already did 5km jog with the dogs this morning and will do another 5km later tonight when hubby gets home from work

Below is a side by side comparison of me... I like to remind myself OFTEN of where I can from and where I am now.  Left photo was taken in 2012 at a party and right photo is of me a month ago taking a selfie in the car on our way to a party

Have an awesome long weekend everyone!

You know you are gorgeous, regardless of the weight, credit that to good genes (and probably good looking parents... happy 50th!), but you are an absolutely beautiful woman!

And, from the pix of your pups, your great encouragement on this board, you are a beautiful soul, too!

And, compare the 2 pictures... you look so happy now. Congratulations on all of the hard work!
