What's on Your (photo) Friday Menu, RNYers?
Ugh... all we have are plans this weekend. Tonight I run, clean, cook, and pack for tomorrow. Tomorrow we head up north to visit because my brother-in-law and his family from Denver are visiting. It's a requirement that everyone's lives must stop when they come into town because they only visit once a year... Anyway, Sunday I head down to my own brother's to do a 50 mile bike ride. He got into cycling this year and since EVERYTHING is a competition with him he want to make sure he is a better cyclist than me. I will let him kick my ass and hopefully that will be the end of it. We also need to organize school supplies (AV, they did require a small personal loan, my good, why do they need 2 packs of Expo markers each??) and figure out first day of school outfits. A mother's job is never done.
On a happier note, my weight continues to move downward despite my atrocious eating (way to many carbs). I attribute it to my exercise schedule which is killing me right now. Although I'm scared that when my training for this race is done the scale will move the opposite way and I will do something crazy like sign up for a full Ironman! Last night after work I laid down for a quick nap and woke up at 6:30 am this morning... whoops.

Have a great weekend!
No photos, unfortunately, but it hasn't been that long- I do have weekend plans, which is rare for me. I'm meeting up for coffee with an old (ex-boy) friend who has quit drinking alcohol. He's been sober for several months. He and I have a 15 year history of drinking a lot together, so this will be our first sober get together, as I no longer drink either. Since the surgery, I have no craving for alcohol, whereas I used to really crave it after a long day's work.
I'm really looking forward to seeing him. *nods*

School shopping this weekend! I'm lucky, my oldest who turned 16 last week couldn't care less about clothes. he's a great kid, and I adore him.
My pic is split, the first was taken last January about 2 weeks before my first appointment for surgery. I was at my highest weight of 291. The second pic was taken this past Sunday. I was showing off my new foundation. I have severe rosacea and this makeup I found covers it perfectly. Can you see the weight loss? can you?
Anyway, on to the foods:
B: 1.5 hard boiled eggs. I tried for 2 but couldn't do it.
s: 7 pepperoni and a laughing cow light swiss
L some canned roast beef that I had hiding in the cupboard with some steamed cauliflower.
s: premier protein
D: shrimp and veggies
Cal: 521 Protein: 64 Carbs: 13 Sugars: 4 Fat: 22
Absolutely can see a difference... and more to come :) What foundation? I have some skin issues and am always trying different things

You can definitely see it!!! You look great. I have a couple of exploded freckles (hey, that's what the dermatologist called them) on my cheeks that I have to cover, too. I have found IT Cosmetics work really well... expensive, but I am worth it! And, there is always easy pay on QVC! I have got to get a life!
