Yes!  I can definitely see the weight loss, and the foundation looks fabulous on you!  I have a lot of sun damage on my face from living at the beach my whole life (we didn't know about sun screen back in those days... we slathered on the baby oil and waiting for the sizzling to begin!)... So I wear a lot of foundation.  I think you picked a beautiful, warm bronzie color and it suits you perfectly.  VERY nice!

You look great!  Isn't it amazing how quickly the changes come?  For me, I see it more in pictures then I do in the mirror.  Congrats!!

Ah the weekend...  Have a support group on Saturday morning. Really casual one we meet at a local Panera, drink coffee, introduce ourselves, talk about anything that is bugging us and move on. There is an Old Navy and a Pier One right there too, so after I usually jump in and check the clearance racks. In the afternoon one of my WLS peeps is having a Birthday Party for her and her twin sister. It is 50's themed. I was trying to figure out what to wear, and found a James Dean T-shirt on the Old Navy clearance rack for $3. Also got a pair of leopard sunglasses. So it will be James Dean long T-shirt, leggings, Red Pumps, (I wore to a wedding) going to buy some cheap red lipstick, paint my nails red, and it the dollar store has any chiffon scarves - do the scarf tied around the neck or hair thing and leopard sunglasses. I'll take a pic and post it next week. Next Friday I have another themed event, Yikes! outfits!

B: Ezekial raisin bread toast with smear of PB and small drizzle honey

S: Premier Protein

L: AV's Buffalo chicken salad, lettuce (Note: buy crumbles Blue cheese- I bought a wedge because it was cheaper but it was too moist and didn't crumble well- ooey, gooey)

D: Leftover Saurbraten from the German Restaurant last night, and red cabbage

S: Monthly Church ladies meeting at my friend's house - probably popcorn and hummus and crackers

My big plan for the weekend is doing a yard sale on Saturday... little yay! I hate the thought of it, but I am looking forward to moving some junk outta my house!  If it doesn't sell, it is getting loaded in the truck and we are headed to Goodwill!

Depending on how I feel after Saturday morning, I may go and get my hair hacked off.  I found a picture of Heidi Klum when her hair was about shoulder length that isn't too frightening. Just a layered, shaggy, hippy kind of look that suits me.  If I can keep my nerve up and I have the energy, I may bite the bullet and cut what strands are left... send good vibes!

Sunday, I am going to the gym for a few hours. I am going to walk and go through the machines and figure out a real workout plan for me and then hopefully go at least every other day next week on the way home from work. I have got to get on the ball with regular gym visits!

Oh, and the corn dog from Sonic was kind of a let down.    It was not as exciting as I had hoped.  I don't know what I was thinking, corn dogs were never a fave anyway...lol.  I would have rather had Melissa's hawaiian burger (is definitely on Saturday or Sunday's night dinner menu).

My menu today:

B: Tea with Truvia and a chocolate Premier Protein shake

S: 1 oz Cabot's Sharp Cheese

L: 2 oz of tuna salad with 1/4 cup of green beans (yay!)

D: 3 oz of grilled talapia with Old Bay season and chili powder and 1/4 cup of GG Broccoli with Butter Sauce

S: will drink some tea with Truvia before dinner and then after dinner, a vanilla Premier Protein Shake with a little Torani SF Salted Caramel Syrup... decadent!

Totals: Calories - 713, Protein - 97 (yea, baby), Carbs - 35, Sugar - 5, Fats - 28

Vits/Water going in, Exercise - unloading the house onto the yard... gonna go ahead and set up our tent tonight so we can just get up in the morning.

Everyone have a safe and happy weekend!

How exciting about your haircut!!  I'll tell you, I went with a super short bob about 5 months post-surgery and I ain't never going back.  I love it and you're gonna love your new 'do, too!

All of you must post these short hairstyle pictures! I'm going short before surgery and need some inspiration!

Well, we're starting our 3rd day in triple digit heat again today, with little relief in sight.  Yesterday it was 100 in the shade, today is expected to be 2-3 degrees higher, but hopefully little less humidity.  Oh, how I long for a cool Fall night to snuggle with my fave blankie.  So, weekend plans are movies to escape the heat.  We did it' last weekend and saw Ricki & the Flash... this time we're seeing Train Wreck.  It will be nice to sit in the A/C for a couple hours.

And as for school supplies - wow... remember the days when all our Mom's had to get us was a couple .29 cent Pee Chee folders???  (That takes me wayyyyy back.)

Time since RNY - 6.5 months

B - Premier Protein Drink w/unsweetened Cashew Milk, SF Caramel Syrup & Raspberry Extract (YUM)

L - L&F Yogurt w/1 TBLS sliced almonds

D - 1 oz Honey Roasted Deli Turkey slices, 1 oz LF Cheddar, diced up in a bowl with Pico De Gallo and a dash of honey mustard

S - 5 Spicy Picante Pork Rinds

V/W - working

E - wash & wax my car

Here's my pic of the day... I've been 'shopping' in my closet all week and stuff fits again!  Here's me in brand new shoes, brand new jewelry (they had a 80% Grand Opening Sale at Payless Shoes), and VERY old "little black dress" that I always hoped would fit again.  (Hey, dry cleaning old clothes sure is cheaper than buying all new!)
