I have a icky summer cold and so does my little guy, so we are both not sleeping well. I'm a trooper though, and I'm at work sniffling and coughing, in my cubicle. the office smells like and hand sanitizer. I can't even wear my CPAP because my nose is too stuffed up.
I was running late this morning, so I just threw a whole bunch of stuff in my bag. It's my plan to use the mail scale to measure, lol. My husband is travelling for business today, but should be home in time for dinner, though I have no idea what we're having.
B: Premier Protien Vanilla (choking this down, I really don't like sweet stuff anymore)
S: 7 pepperoni and a cheese stick
L: 3oz of FF chili lime re-fried beans, 1/2 oz shredded cheese and a teaspoon of salsa
S: shrimp with a touch of hot sauce
D: to be decided. I may end up just making myself shrimp and zucchini again and let the guys work out what they want.
water started (or herbal tea, it's been really soothing) vitamins being choked down and I'm too exhausted to think about exercise today.
Totals without dinner: Cals: 496 Protein:59, Carbs: 20 Fat 21
Bump up that protein, girl! Hopefully, later on the protein shakes will not be so bad... I know in the 1st couple of months, they gagged me but I like them now. Maybe get some of the Unjury chicken soup powder!
I just don't want your hair to fall out... it is devastating to me! I think I am going to bite the bullet and get it cut this weekend. What's really bad is that the hair falling out is my dyed hair but those dang gray hairs are resilient! LOL
Unseasonably chilly here in Illinois but Lily and I love to walk our three miles when there's a bit of chill in the air. Walk is done for the day and on track with vitamins and fluids so far. Jus5 starting on a cup of pumpkin spice coffee toi! Post op 3 years Saturday and weight at 117.2. Here's the eats for today: B 1/2 c steel cut oats with protein powder and half a banana with peanut butter L 31/2 oz ground beef 1/2 c fresh tomatoes D 31/2 oz shrimp with 1/2 c green beans S Greek yogurt with nuts. Have a day full of amazing choices everyone!
It doesn't get easier but it does become more routine. It's still about making the right choices though, and I think those food demons will always be there! I am so thankful for Lily too because she really motivates me to exercise. She loves her walks and if it wasn't for knowing how disappointed she would be there are many mornings I would skip them. She gives me sad eyes though,so I slip on the tennis shoes and we go!
