What's On Your Thursday Menu, RNYers?
Good Morning! It's dark and gloomy here in CNY, which might account for my crankiness. Or not. LOL I drive angry in the morning anyway, but my language was particularly salty on today's AM commute. Why do people not move with purpose?! It drives me insane when people drive below the speed limit. It's 55 on the turnpike, not 40!!
*ahem* So, today marks the opening day of The Great NY State Fair. That's the official name: The Great NY State Fair. LOL It's a good time, and they have tons of stuff to do and see, but you couldn't pay me to go on the first day. My husband is actually working there today repping the DOL. When his work day is done I'll be dropping off my son at the gate to meet him so they can do it up while I drive away, hopefully at a speed that I find acceptable. HA!

Good morning. I hate when people drive slow. Or which is really bad down here is people thinking it is Nascar and they pass on the right of you then zip in front of you then change lanes. it is crazy. I won't drive on Saturdays near the beaches.
It is a nice crisp morning here in Jersey. Hoping it warms up I am not ready for the chilly weather yet. My dogs are so fired up when it is chilly they run around like loons.
This weekend we are going to stay on our sailboat with other sailboats and tie up out in the bay kind of a redneck yacht club. I am looking forward to it. I would never have done this pre-surgery. I was so scared on the boat. I know sit on the front of it and just chill and sometimes hold on for dear life. But it is fun to push myself into doing things that used to scare me.
I love going to fairs. I love the smell and I love the people watching. I never really ate at fairs since I had horrible IBS. So going to them is not a problem. I am going to get my husbands butt to the boardwalk before it gets too cold. I will eat sausage and peppers there. Without the roll.
B:Egg white omelet with baby bell garlic cheese and some ham
L:Chicken and black bean salad
D:I think I am going to go out. I will get the salad with steak
S:Quest bar or yogurt.
I have been drinking so much water and liquids I have been getting up at night a few times. Does anyone else have this problem?
40oz of water are in. Vitamins are going down. I am glad I posted here I almost forgot about them.

I usually in full make up. Even when I had my kids I would have make up on. I always wished I didn't start wearing it when I was a teenager.
When my daughter was younger I told her not to wear it so she really never did till this year. I started when I was 15 so habits are hard to break out of. Since surgery I have been going out with none on.
I agree with AV about the redneck yacht club!! Sounds fun! I have never liked being on a boat, either! For one thing, it was always so hard to get on and off from the dock! But, I am looking forward to doing more things like this and camping as my weight comes off.
You also made me want a "fair" sausage dog, sans bun... sounds so good!
Once I started tracking my water intake to make sure I get 72oz+, I wake up 1-2 times at night to have to go to the bathroom. Totally normal. Really good for the body, though! The uninterrupted sleep, not so much...
