Need ideas for dense protein foods
I'm 6 1/2 years post RNY and I have a hot protein drink made with Whey isolate protein powder & 1 scoop Click = 30 grams protein, every morning.
A general rule for protein is 1 gram protein for every 10 calories. So if something is 100 calories - I'd like it to have about 9-10 grams protein. ( I don't count nuts as a good protein source - I consider them fat with minimal protein)
I aim for 80+ grams protein a day and just can't get that much without a RTD or powdered protein daily. My pouch is "grouchy".
