Unseasonally cool here today. Lily and I got our three miles in and I wore a hoodie! Loved the honey lesson too! My youngest is learning about beekeeping at his new job. They have agentleman who has two hives set up there and Sam will be helping him. I agree that I will be constantly on the lookout for bad habits sneaking in as I was overweight and unhealthy2 for 52 years.  It will always be a struggle for me. I must be the odd one here as I am at the bottom of the normal bmi range so I make sure to eat and wear heavy clothes to see my surgeon. My rheumatologist prefers my weight low but my surgeon would like me in the middle of the range. I finally told him that since I can't take NSAIDS for joint pain I will listen to my rheumatologist on a good weight for me. It took him several visits to agree with me! I am post op 36 months on Saturday and weight is 117.2 today. Here's the eats: B 1/2 c steel cut oats with protein powder and half a banana with peanut butter L 1/2 c venison meatballs and 1/2 c Brussels sprouts D 31/2 oz ground beef with 1/2 c brussel sprouts S Greek yogurt with nuts. Have a great day full of smart choices everyone!

AV, like everyone else, I can totally relate!  Part of it is the shopping "how will I get through this?" and part of it is despite measuring my food at home, I can STILL overeat.  I had leftover turkey taco meat for breakfast, and although I diligently measured out 3 oz, I actually SPIT out the last bite, because as I was chewing, I realized that last bite would make me too full.  Why can't I stop myself when I am done - and am still acting like I am in the clean plate club???  Granted it's the 3 oz plate, but STILL.  Sigh...

My menu is slightly off kilter since I am going to a Spanish tapas place tonight.  I assume dinner will be wine and shrimp.  Not great, not terrible.

B: Leftover turkey taco meat, light sour cream, 1/5 avocado

S: Scone (ugh, don't ask)

L: Leftover turkey taco meat, light sour cream, 1/5 avocado

D: Wine, shrimp in olive oil and garlic

Totals are up in the air.  I did a great strength training workout this morning, which is a good way for me to start the day!  I feel strong.  And my legs hurt when I go up stairs.  Which makes me realize it's working :)

Have a great day, all!
