NSV
That is awesome. I remember running again for the first time after WLS and I began to cry during the run.
I had an NSV last night. The hotel where I am staying allows you to use the Boston Sports Club across the street for free. I looked at their class schedule and saw a "Burn" class and thought, heck yeah, I'll try it. Within about 10 minutes I knew I was out of my league. OMG I got my *ss handed to me by this instructor LOL. I thought about leaving but decided to stick it out and see if I could finish. I did. I also realized that when I was morbidly obese, the instructors were so kind and nice to me. Now I get zero sympathy and am "forced" to really kick butt. Anyways, great post and very motivating to read others' responses. :)

Good for you 3B! I am so happy for you! A recent NSV for me: A couple of weeks ago, my 10 year old son was giving me a hug and my husband pointed out that Camden's arms were all the way around me and his hands were overlapped in the back. In his whole life, he has never been able to get his arms around me or at times even half-way around.
I am so glad to call everyone here friends and am so proud of all the steps everyone is making everyday to a better, healthier person. Thank you for sharing your success with us. I look forward to reading many more stories.
