That is great. When pain is not there it is a good thing. It is so nice to be able to sit on the ground and be able to get up.

I paddle boarded for the first time on vacation . . . in the ocean . . . and my 20 year old daughter (who is in pretty good shape) wasn't able to get to a standing position.  I had to try multiple times, but I finally got up (and then a cheer arose from the beach from all the moms who were watching me go out over and over).  It was a pretty amazing moment!

Congrats on getting into the ocean!  It's a wonderful thing to have the freedom to do whatever you want to do!!!!

That is awesome. One of my friends said we could do it one day. I said maybe next summer.

Awesome!

This is something I have been wanting to do.   I have arthritis in my right knee, well actually both knees, but the right is worse.  I don't know if that will be a hindrance, hoping to strengthen muscles around knees and maybe try this next summer.

That is awesome!!!!!

So we have this leather recliner, and my 4 year old always like to sit with me (when I get a chance to sit down with 4 kids....not often LOL), but before surgery he used to get SO MAD at me because he wanted to sit NEXT to me....not ON me.  Well over the weekend I was sitting, and he came up and there was enough room for him to sit NEXT to me!!! I almost cried

I had a major NSV today. I went into the ocean today for the first time in 20 or so years. I would never go in because I was always afraid I wouldn't be able to get back up from the waves. I did need help to get  but that was from laughing so much. I had no idea how much sand a bathing suit can hold.

Post an NSV that you have had. We have to help each other move on with our weight loss and be positive.

Mermaids are graceful. I was anything but that.
