Off topic -- TMI, but miserable and just need to whine!

Sending you an apology for laughing at your sentence you typed in all capital letters. Laughing made my healing incisions hurt but the emoticon you posted after the ALL CAPS made me laugh even more.  Misery must love company; feeling your pain.  This too shall pass.      

Here's my conversation with the nurse when she announced I was being discharged from the hospital less than 24 hours after bowel obstruction surgery.  ME: why so soon, I don't feel anywhere near ready to go home?  NURSE: because you performed all the things we asked of you like getting up to walk  ME: I thought I didn't have a choice. Ask me again and I'll say no.  NURSE: you're just too dang healthy to hang around here.  ME:  that's because you guys have me taking a gigantic handful of supplements every day  NURSE: they must be working, push the nurse button when you are ready  ME: okay but I'm going to take my sweet time and I'm going to order the salmon dinner for my husband to eat before we leave.
