Not an NSV, but an unusual SV
I went for a check up with my general physician today to ask about some unusual symptoms I'm having post-surgery. Part of my check in involved the nurse weighing me.
"Oh, sorry," I said, pointing at the scale. It was one of those "normal" doctor's scales like this one:
"I can guarantee you that kind of scale won't work on me. We'll just need to use the one across the hall at the other doctor's." I was used to having to use a digital scale, as my weight has always surpassed what the above scales can measure.
"Well, let's just see. You did have surgery a month ago," the nurse replied.
I got on, and low and behold, it could weigh me!!! I'm officially able to use the kind of scale I haven't been able to for years!
Oh, joy,

RIght, Lisa09? Seeing the little thing-a-ma-bob being pushed down to a lower number by the nurse boggled what little mind I have!
