What's On Your Tuesday Menu, RNYers?

It is my goal in life to get a house keeper one day a mth by the end of next year...of course ive been saying this for 5yrs now...but maybe someday.  I figure if I give up one thing, ie one $100 credit card payment that should about cover it...of course that would mean stop using that credit card for long enough to pay it off... whoo am I kidding...ill never get it done 

You can do it!!

I am so spoiled in NY so many cheap mani/pedi places. The one I go to is $20 for a regular mani/pedi and $30 for a spa one. Spa one tales about 2 hours and it includes 10 minute foot massage and 5 minute back massage while your nails are drying. They also have massage chairs... heaven.

I got a gel mani and regular deluxe pedi for 38, so I went for it!

I don't want summer to go yet. I refuse to eat anything fall like. I have to plant new flowers in my barrels out front and I won't plant mums yet. I want the smell of suntan lotion and the feeling of the hot sun shining on me. I do like the cooler nights though. I get very sad when summer is over.

I went to my new doctor. He was pleased with my weight loss results. He feels I can totally get to the goal that I want. It is just going to take more time then when I lost before. As for the pain he didn't feel a hernia in there. I felt it was my stomach muscles healing and trying to get stronger. He was very nice. His staff was great to. I have to go for blood work and see him next month. So it was a pretty good visit. I felt satisfied with him.

L:Steak with a salad with chick peas and feta. Never thought I would like chick peas. Love them in a salad

D:Chicken with a black bean and corn salad with cilantro

S:Yogurt /Cheese stick. 

Vitamins are in. 40oz of water are in already. It's going to be a good day. 

Glad to hear that the new doctor was nice and sounds like the appt went well.

He knew who my doctor was and I said that he was a jerk. He says I didn't say that you did. So I think he knows. I felt like he gave a crap where the other one was just a cutter. 

So happy about your doctor visit! I really feel that you have to have a real team behind you to be able to succeed. 

I was so lucky with my doctor... besides being cute as a button (not like ga ga handsome, but a cutie), he is just a wonderful person. I told this story before, but I ran into him at the hospital when I was there to get my  3 month blood work... I had just come from his office after my visit with his NP, and he was so warm and wonderful. Called me by my 1st name, could remember my specific health issues and was very complimentary on how much weight I had lost. And, ended the conversation with a hug. And, I am not a touchy, huggy person.... but it felt good and genuine. 

So glad it went well, sometimes docs don't want to take on new patients if they didn't do the cutting... so good all around.
