Onederland and NSV!
We just got back from a trip to the Black Hills and I was so excited to step on the scale and see that I have finally hit a weight that starts with a 1. I haven't seen a weight like that in over 11 years. I lost 5 pounds while on vacation, which is a first.
For my NSV, I climbed to the top of Harney Peak, the highest peak east of the Rockies while we were in South Dakota, in shorts! That is the first time I have been in shorts in public in probably 15 years. It was a 7 mile round trip hand took about 4 1/2 hours. Last summer, that never would have happened. I would have been the one waiting at the bottom or part way up for my family to come back down.
I am so thankful that I was able to have surgery 3 months ago and am so excited for the new opportunities that will be coming my way. My next adventure, is flying to Florida in September. So excited to be able to buckle the seat belt without discomfort or an extender.
