Sorry for the rant but I'm a little perturbed this morning. 

My first goal is to get below 300.  I have been doing really well the last week and yesterday the scale read 300.2.  I was positive that this morning I was going to see my number start with a 2. 

I get on the scale this morning and I weigh exactly 300.0.  :(  UGH!  We have a friend's house warming to go to tonight and I was really hoping to announce hitting my goal.  I'm just a bitupset.   I know tomorrow I will most likely be under but I was so close yesterday I was really hoping today would be the day.   

One sort of good thing...  the party dress I bought for this party is too big.  That keeps happening.   I'm busy gonna buy a bunch of stuff in various sizes.

Yep. I hit a stall last week, 1lb before I move from obese to overweight. Thanks, body!

But I still think you should announce your goal, anyway. What's an ounce in comparison to the proud feeling you'd get from telling people? 

Have fun and hopefully it will show up on the scale tomorrow!

I feel for you.  when I was about to break 300 I stalled for a couple of months at 303

I lucked out this time, I hit my next goal of 260 and then boom a stall

Look at NSVs. When the scale doesn't do what you think it should.

Girl, try to relax or you will drive yourself insane!! I was also over 300 pounds when I started my journey. It's a long one. Try to enjoy the ride. You are doing a great job!!

I feel like I stalled for weeks before I hit onderland.  It's like our body knows that we really want to hit a milestone and screws with us :P

LOL  I am not taking it TOO seriously, but MAN did I want that goal to be hit today.  I will settle for tomorrow.  :)  I'm not overly upset, and I know that a lot of it has to do with the fact that I irritated my hip from walking the other day.  I tried to up my pace and ended up barely making it back to the house.  I have taken yesterday and today off to recoup before starting back on walking tomorrow.  So I am positive my body is holding water as it helps to heal the pull in my leg.  Such is life.

My dress is too big.

I slept REALLY well last night, and have continued to sleep well.

My husband said my collar bones are really showing off now.

My mom is super jealous.  lol

Think of it like 'upping' the anticipation before the big goal! You know... like in the movies when the music gets really suspenseful! It just means when you hop on the scale next time, you should have the Hallelujah chorus played throughout the house!
