Obstruction, Spigelian hernia
Thank you for all the kind words. The tips are well-noted. I often think of my farmer dad (deceased) when I get sick. He had a large herd of beef cattle. Any cow that didn't produce a calf, had difficulties calving, got hurt, got old or had an attitude would meet their demise by getting shipped to the slaughterhouse. If I had been a cow, I would have been shipped a very long time ago. Dad had one exception-- an old cow he kept around for so long, it got the name Betty. My husband, also a farmer, calls me "his Betty." Obstruction surgery feels like it knocked quite a chunk out of the fifteen years WLS was suppose to spare me but I will happily be his Betty until I meet my demise, too. Thanks again, everybody.
