My First NSV!
There was a similar post from another member a few days ago-
I wear a watch that never comes off unless it has to (like for surgery). The day I got out of surgery, I put it back on as soon as I could. That said, my watch has been bothering me for the past few days, because it keeps slipping around on my wrist. It finally occurred to me a minute ago: Tighten your wristband, goofy. You've lost weight, so adjust it!
And I have- and now it's back to it's former steady-as-she goes position.

Just think how many pounds that "hole" represents.
You may have to buy a new watch (or watchband) before you reach goal.
Maybe you should start looking at the fabulous onces for a reward for when you get to goal!
You dont know how much fun and excitement is about to come into your future. Sure, you KNOW that fun and excitement is coming, but you really have no way of comprehending how much. It can only be measured in the feeling of your heart swelling....
It is wonderful and it is happening right now FOR YOU!!!

Three pounds below Goal!!! Yay !
Hi SkinnyScientist,
I actually have a watchband in mind for this particular watch, so maybe that will be a present to myself later. (There's a picture of the watch below.)
Thank you so much for you positive words. I'm sure you recall how up and down emotions can be in the beginning, so I am so, so glad to hear encouragement from someone who's been through it and is on the other, healthy, happy side!
Spread the joy,

My emotions really were all over the place. And sometimes they still are. Not being able to stress eat...is challenging.
My Mom is going through some medical things and is at mayo. I am here on the East Coast and it is like I cant get full. Then it hit me while I was eating cherry tomatoes by the hand ful. I am stress eating!
Love the watch. It is really sporty and technical looking!

Sending positive vibes to your mom. *hugs* The Mayo Clinic is supposed to be amazing.
I hear you on the stress eating. During an argument with my husband tonight, all I could think about was raiding the fridge. If you're going to stress eat, though, I'd say cherry tomatoes are a very healthy choice!
Yup, the watch is pretty technical- When I feel my life is out of control, at least the watch is constant in letting me know which way is north, the current moon phase, date, tidal data, and barometric pressure. Not useful in the Bronx, really, but mentally it does help. ;-)
