I am 6wks out from surgery and I am so nauseated I can not eat or drink without vomiting. None of the nausea meds my Dr has given me helps. I need some relief.  I am having a endoscopy in the morning. Nauseated 24/7.

You are in a "catch 22".  Dehydration makes you feel nausea, which makes you unable to drink, increasing the nausea.

Dehydration is likely the culprit.  You have to force your self yourself to drink.  Drink tiny sips all day long.  Set a timer to remind you to drink. Try changing the temperature of the fluids.  Early out, I could not tolerate anything cold.  I drank a lot of herbal tea.  Peppermint or Ginger tea soothed my stomach.

Sounds like major dehydration;  you may need IV fluids.  It's all too easy to forget to hydrate.  Once you get past a certain point, taking fluids orally won't work, so you'll need the IV.

Don't let it get out of hand;  if your blood gets too thick to pump you will pass out and probably fall over sideways.  With any luck you won't hit anything on the way down, or break your neck.

When my friend was 6-8 weeks out from VSG and still nauseous the surgeon sat her down and told her she needed more fluids. When she finally forced herself to do it, she felt better. Hoping it is nothing more than that. What helped my nausea in the beginning was Tic Tacs, I would bite them and let them melt in my mouth. Peppermint helped a lot.

Besides nausea, try pinching your skin on the back of your hand.  If the fold of skin takes a while to go back to flat, you're probably dehydrated.  In that case, get IV fluids.

You might have what I had at exactly the same time as me, a stricture. 6-8 weeks is the time is what my doc said when this usually occurs. It's not that uncommon either. You could have something just stuck in there too. Let us know how the endoscopy went. I really hope you feel better. It's scary how fast you can feel like crap when you can't even drink.
