Early Weight Loss Stall

I had my surgery 3 weeks ago today.  In the first 2 weeks I lost 22 lbs.  Last week NOTHING!  How is this even possible?   I am eating next to nothing - 1/2 scrambled egg and 1/2 toast in the morning, 1/4 cup tuna fish and 2 small crackers for lunch and dinner, and water.  What gives?

do a search on "three week stall".   Happens to most of us.

thank you - I did the search and found out that this is not uncommon.  I had no idea.  Thank you very much, I feel better.

Love this forum!

I am actually at a two week stall. I hope it doesn't stall for week three. I lost 15 lbs first week. Since then nothing!

I lost 11 pounds the first week, and then nothing for 3 1/2 weeks. It stunk but now I am just over a year out and it is a distant memory... my surgeon was right... He would say, "I am not worried"

I stalled weeks 2 and 3 and then dropped 6 lbs during week 4.  Be patient and just stick to your program......

So good to hear that this happened to others. I'm 4 weeks post op and last week I stalled as well, and I'm all worried that I will stop losing weight (paranoid much!)

My three week stall lasted for about 2.5 weeks, then I started losing weight again. I was frustrating, because like you I was lucky to break 800 calories a day at that point.
