What's on Your Wednesday Menu, RNYers?
Sounds like a blast!! I am definitely a theme park person, and a Fairgrounds person. We live close to Orlando so we are HUGE disney fanatics. We even have ou own social club (read: Disney Gang) with our own vests and everything. LOL Its fun and Disney actually does special things for us as a thank you for dedication. The one thing I always loved about Disney is all of their rides are "Pooh" sized. I used to be a cast member and we were told this was because they never wanted a guest to feel left out or discouraged from being able to enjoy the parks. I love that. but I REALLY love how easy it is getting into the tea cups now!
This year we are not going as much. At least since surgery. We are trying to help keep me away from the temptation of food and drink. Disney is a big food area, and when you are at Epcot there is a lot of drinking. This is our first year in 10 that we are missing Food and Wine. Its killing me. But we know its what we have to do.

So jealous! I LOVE Disney (my husband not so much). My goal is to do the Dopey Challenge in 2018! That way I get a good race in and a few days there!!
Dopey challenge is an awesome goal! Maybe I'll set my sights for 2018 and join you!! I just registered for my second Tinker Bell half marathon, but would love to add the Dopey medal to my very small collection!!
A lot of people haven't. And its certainly not for everyone! But its definitely for us! My hsuband and I had our first date 20 years ago there. And we had our honeymoon there. and we have celebrated our anniversary every year for 15 years there. Plus now that we live so close we go there at least once a month, sometimes for multiple days. We are pass holders, and DVC owners. We also do the disney cruises. Its just right for us.
My nephew lived close to Disney for several years... they were fanatical about going to Disney! I also know several couples that had their honeymoons at Disney. I haven't been in 30 + years but one of my special treats is that when I meet goal (still undecided) is that I am taking my grandson to Disney and we are going to play!!!!

Good morning. I live near three boardwalks and have not gone on any rides yet this summer there. I am totally making my husband go. I am not a big fan of rides. I think I just want to go on them now because I fit. I did this summer go on a roller coaster for the first time. I was not a fan but I had it on my list of things to do.
This weekend we take our daughter back to college. I am sad and happy at the same time.
