Anyone willing to look at my diet to see if needs improving?

I just had my two week follow up with the NUT yesterday and she told me that somewhere about 4 our 5 months I will hit a stall. She said when that happens to increase my intake by 100 calories. It may be that your slow loss is your metabolism is shutting down because you're not getting enough.

She asked us that it sounds crazy, but it works.

I completely disagree.

Anyhow OP, I think you are doing awesome.  It looks VERY similar to my calorie intake at your stage.  Trust me, you do not have to worry about increasing calories, it will happen naturally and sneak up on you.  USE this honeymoon period --- enjoy being able to eat so little and lose as much as possible during this time.

I think you are doing an amazing job.

We are all entitled to our opinions.

Indeed!  But some of us have actual experience to back them up.

Whatever works for each person.

While we are all entitled to our opinions, you're just being wrong about facts, which is different.

Certainly. But how does eating more lead to losing more? It that were so, I wouldn't have needed WLS. I would have been slim as a reed. Starvation mode is a myth.

I'm sure the calories will creep up pretty easily. Just wanted to check again on my numbers since I'm doing the diet on my own! I'm feeling good right now about where I am with losing but want to stick with that and avoid stalls as long as I can.

I think you are FINE with what stage you are in now.

Now-this is not criticism and it isnt even something you have to worry about now.

But sometimes...when close to goal...ones weight loss will really start to slow down. When that happens, you MAY want to consider reducing come of the cheese (and cheese Os) and putting in some vegetables that you like to reduce calories but still be filling.

But as I said..this is not stage appropriate for you right now...so dont worry about it. Just have it in teh back of your mind.

I'm about 5 months out from surgery. I met with my NUT today and she told me to aim for at least 70g protein a day and 600-800 calories. Just all depends on each person. I would try and schedule an appointment with your NUT. That's the best person to get advice from

Not all NUTs are created equal unfortunately. Mine was awful and her advice sucked. Crackers and pasta WAY too early out. So I don't go to her anymore. Thanks for the input!
