i did not crap on anyone ... and I don't believe i was condescending.  But a lil shocked at the JUDGEMENT so quickly passed .. yes 5 years out i'm not perfect.  I am being real - not making excuses - I forget to take my pills even with a reminder.

Sheesh-

i was told only chewables and as a matter of fact most bariatric supplement are in chewable form for this reason as the stomach is removed and thus no acid to break down  the vitamin and thus not being broken down enough for the small intestines and large intestines to absorb.

Trust me DOLL ... if my life depended on a pill i would die .. cuz I just dont remember or have a regimen.... i set an alarm and it does go off but i dont always stop to take or wait a min then forget ...  You can sound HARSH  if you wanna - I does not make a diff to me .. im not playing Russian roulette ...  = Im telling you how my life is I am glad u are regimed and good about it ...  Its hard for me  i work double  swing shifts and have twins and am a stay at home mom ... im busy

Excuses are like ******** everyone has them.

If you keep NOT taking your vitamins you are not going to have to worry about being to busy because you will be in a nice satin lined box 6ft under.  Your twins will have no mother.

Oh and please clarify how you work double swing shifts, but your a stay at home mom?

....and I'm trying to tell you how your life will be if you don't get the vitamin thing right.  You WILL have a long, painful, death.  Vitamins after RNY are NOT OPTIONAL, they are MANDATORY!!!!!

Everyone is "busy".  That is no excuse.  It is NOT hard work to take vitamins.  You have to take care of yourself.  Do You want to be around (with energy and good health) for your twins?

I'm pretty sure the "DOLL" comment was meant as an insult, but I really AM a DOLL ( A very SMART doll), so I'm taking it as a compliment.

Nope Doll was not a DIG ...  its a word I use in my every day repertoire and sweet cheeks but i dont know you so seemed a bit inappropriate.

Again, I am not making excuses - I am seriously telling you that I have TROUBLE taking remember and getting the vitamins down.  I have two alarms that go off and unless I am literally sitting doing nothing I get up and take but typically  I am in the buzz of the day or at work in the midddle of taking a 3 year old who was raped by her mom boyfriend away fro her family - and its kinda hard to say EXCUSE me LIL GIRL  i know your crying and sad that I am a complete stranger ripping you from your moms arms who knowingly allows her BOYFRIEND to  perpetrate you  and taking you away for your own protection but I gotta  take my  CALCIUM ...   or while my own set of 4 year old twins are crying cuz they fell of their bike or their pants are to itchy or they need a snack  or dont wanna leave the play area.... I GET THAT I NEED TO MAKE TIME - I DO ... but i am having trouble - i have trouble putting myself first or before  even if for a min.  Its a problem I have - and this post was me looking at the issue and realize i have to have action and what can i do .. so I am aware there is a prob and I am trying to see what ppl take and do ... does it mean I will maybe maybe not  but i have some info i need - i researched buying the vitamins but have yet to get  but on my list ...

so thank you - and really you have no idea how my life will be or how it is ...unless your psychic and or a meduim ( im skeptical )  u have no clue how it will pan out ... but we as humans like to think we know ...

We get it... You are busy.  Lots of us are busy!  But you already know that you have to make time for vitamins.  None of us here needs to be a psychic to know that if you continue NOT to take the vitamins, you WILL end up with deficiencies and physical problems because of them.  We have seen it happen and there is nothing that makes you special.

If setting an alarm doesn't work, then FIND SOMETHING ELSE THAT WILL.  Put your vitamin pills out on your desk so that as soon as you get back to your desk, you can take 30 seconds to take them...  or when you gte out of the car, put them ON the seat of your car (with a bottle of water) so you cannot drive away until you take them.  Put the damn things on your pillow so you cannot go to bed until you take them.  You CAN do it, but you MUST make it a priority!

Also, since calcium is a particular problem for you, if you have not already had a DEXA scan, I strongly urge you to get one ASAP, because even if you were getting labs drawn (which you aren't), the serum calcium level doesn't tell you anything except that, because you aren't taking enough calcium in, your body is doing a sufficient job of taking the calcium your heart needs from your bones... and a DEXA scan is the only way to see the bone loss (which, once it has occurred, cannot be corrected).

Make it a priority. We cannot do that for you.

I use the Bariatric Advantage Calcium Citrate Chewables via Amazon (LINK).

You can probably get them for a little less $$ from other sites, but for me I buy everything on Amazon and enjoy my 5% cash back. :)

I got the Wild Cherry myself. They are not bad. They definitely don't taste like candy more like cherry chalk... but bearable. :)
