I'm currently sitting in the waiting room at my local er. In in extreme pain.

I agree some ground turkey for lunch today and a gradual pain started. Now I'm having major pain that comes in waves, bur it's also a burning sensation radiating across my while abdomen and my back. I'm afraid I damaged my pouch and now have a leak. The pain comes and goes in waves.

Waiting to have a ct scan now. This is the worst pain I've had since childbirth and pitocin

Thanks everyone, ct shows possible small bowel obstruction . the er doctor is contacting my surgical team for advice as I'm at a different  hospital that had no bariatric program. Pain is under control with the help of dilaudin.

My poor husband is sleeping across the end of my  hospital bed. He's a Godsend and a trooper.

Wishing you all the best!!! My former husband dealt with obstructions a few times (not WLS related) - and sometimes bowel rest is the cure. Let's hope so!

Hope all is ok! I remember having some pinching pain during my healing process. Everytime I would get up I hurt like crazy but was intermittent and my doctor said as long as it didn't come and stay. All worked out well for me. Here is hoping all will do the same for you!

Not having BM for that long earlier indicated motility issue. Hope it is just that... And that things get clear without surgical intervetion.

Sometimes the gut need time to wake up after surgeries and while on pain pills.

My doc put all of us a clear  liquids for first 2 weeks, full liquids for the next 2-3 werks, then advance to other phase... ..

He wanted to make sure things "move along" before we are introduced to more "solid" foods..
