Good morning. I am working from home again today. I actually feel lazy. I do like to be up and dressed hair and make up done. I am in my Pjs still. I woke up with a headache and upset tummy. I am hoping it is just from my sinuses.

B:Two cups of tea maybe a ricotta pancake with protein powder

L:Ham and cheese wrapped in a lettuce leaf

D:Meatballs and chicken sausage with zucchini noodles

S:Cheese stick and maybe a yogurt

Vitamins are in 40oz so far of liquids.

Have a great day.

Morning ladies!  Thank God its Wednesday.  The last few weeks I have been taking Friday's off and only working four day weeks and last week we had a Stat holiday here and so I had a three day week.  This week I am covering someone so I have to work a full five days, feels like an eternity LOL LOL But then I am off the next five Friday's, I have a lot of vacation/lieu time and an amazing boss who truly gets the whole "work life balance."

AV I had my hubby take me out for lunch last weekend, I had these amazing Ahi Tuna "tacos" OMG delish.  Ahi Tuna over a bed of coleslaw with a spicy wasabi/cilantro cream, so good!  Then we went shopping and I got new runners (see below).  I am running so much that I am going through shoes like crazy.  These were on sale, I should have got two pairs LOL.

Time Since Surgery: 21 months (next week)

B: home made chocolate protein shake with 1/2 cup of 1% lactose free milk and 1/2 cup cold water

B2: (leftovers) turkey burger and 2 oz of grilled red pepper and 1 tbsp bbq sauce

L: 3 oz of chicken shawarma over 1/4 cup of lettuce and hot sauce

S: 1/4 cup of salted pumpkin seeds

D: 3.5 oz of steak with 1 tbsp HP sauce and 1/2 bbq corn on the cob

S: two slices of salami with 2 oz of marble hard cheese, tons of mustard "roll ups"

TOTALS: 1150 calories, 110 protein, 48 carbs, 65 fat

V/W: vits done, water good.  Have been keeping a filled glass on my desk at work of half ice water half cranberry juice and forces me to drink more if its right in front me.

E: 5km jog on my lunch hour at work, then another 5km with hubby & the dogs later tonight

Have a great day everyone!

Today is going to be a stressful day for me- I applied to 16 different hospitals yesterday for a pre-internship internship (if that makes sense LOL) and will be making some phone calls this afternoon.  (I'm working on a PhD in neuropsych.) Biting my nails with anticipation/waiting, and really wanting to have comfort food!

Two weeks and two days since surgery!

B: 4 oz tea, 4 oz protein shake

S: Decaf coffee

L: Tomato soup

S: Decaf coffee, 4 oz protein shake

D: 4 oz protein shake, 1 serving cream cheese

Protein: 73.5 g, Calories: 720, H20: At least 48 oz, as I'll drink throughout the day

Look up Eggface. She has a lot of good recipes for people just starting out and who have been here a long time.

Hi 3Bassethounds,

Thank you for the suggestion!  I've heard of Eggface's recipes and will now make it a point to visit her website.  :-)
