What's on Your Wednesday Menu, RNYers?
We made it to the halfway point, ladies! Woo! This week, I swear. That's me -----> I think I'm going to make my husband take me out Friday. I deserve it. LOL
Time since surgery: 1 year +
B: coffee, L&F Greek banana chocolate on top yogurt and 15 gms Captain Crunch.
S: cheese stick and 1/2 oz. salt and vinegar pork rinds. They called to me from the shelves and Walmart last night and they are officially my new favorite thing.
L: Chinese chicken/ramen salad. Someone asked me for the recipe yesterday and then I just had to make it. I am highly suggestible.
D: corned beef and cheddar rollups, HB egg and a pickle. I think.

I cannot wait for the weekend!! I am going to get my nose pierced for my reward for staying 100% on program and losing over 100 lbs!!! The outlet is having a buy1 get 1 1/2 off sales, so I think Hubby will get new sneakers as well :)
This morning I made it to my SURGEON'S GOAL WEIGHT!!!!! I WILL prove the nurse practitioner wrong when she says anyone who makes it to goal or gets to a normal BMI either under eats or over exercises!! GGGRRRR she is a jerk! lol

Yeah I dont get it! She told everyone in my pre-op class that we should ALL expect to still be OBESE after surgery!! WTF??? I understand that they dont want to "set us up for failure"....but she is setting people up to just QUIT and not work as hard as they should!!
Congrats on meeting your surgeon's goal!!! Your NP sounds like a nightmare and should probably reconsider her profession. I can honestly say that my dr., np and all of the practice's staff are the most encouraging people for me! I now realize how lucky I am when I hear horror stories from others.
Way to go... get some pretty sneakers!!! Now, the nose piercing thing, I would never do it but I am old!!! But my son's gf's is very pretty!! And, she likes it! So, more power to you!!!
