What's On Your Monday Menu, RNYers?
Good Morning and Happy Monday! My weekend was pretty relaxing since we didn't do much which did allow me to get into "The Fault of Our Stars" which is really good. Wow, that's a lot of honey! I hope camp goes well for your son, my daughter will be doing the same in mid-September with her school.
Guess what I found at Target?!?!? Panera dressing! I had already bought all the other ingredients to make a copy cat Strawberry chicken salad for this week's lunches and I thought what the heck I will see if they have any yummy dressing and was totally surprised they had the Panera brand.

Have a great one!
My parents had a business for many years of selling honey. We had hives everywhere. It was such a great learning experience for my brother and I. I remember my mom practically skipping out to the mailbox to see if her order of new queens came in. It was all great until my brother was stung one day while we were helping and he swelled up like Rocky on The Mask. We almost lost him before the ambulance got there After that my parents sold everything!! My brother is 35 and still has to carry a epi-pen with him 24/7.
This weekend was a LONG weekend working! The only good thing is I hit my GOAL! FINALLY!!! The only bad thing is I am so competitive with myself that I think I may set my goal for 5 more lbs. I am still considered "overweight" and I want to be the best me possible :)

How scary! My husband had a problem with one of the sites when he tried to return the spun out boards too late in the day on Saturday. The bees were all there and were pretty pissed that he was there, too. He got stung 4x, right through the suit/glove. He's like, "Maybe I should carry the epi-pen with me when I go down to the yard". Ya think? LOL
I, on the other hand, am smart and remain in the house, uncapping and spinning. LOL
Congratulations on reaching your goal! Goals are funny, as I am getting closer I feel like it is a moving target. According to what I initially set for myself I put it at the higher end of a 'normal' BMI for my height. That would be almost 50 more pounds... people are telling me that is crazy I am not sure if it is or it isn't. For now I am setting getting below 200 - 18 pounds to go - and then saying I'll see from there. Right now I still need to lose like 2 or 3 more pounds to not even be considered Obese....

Wow that is a lot of Honey... I consider it deliciousness but don't indulge very often any more. :) AV I am not sure how you always keep your calories so low this far out. I am impressed. I teaching painting classes over the summer to teens and today is my last class. While I enjoy it, I am glad it is over for the summer.

Good morning everyone! We had amazing weather in Juneau this weekend. It was a crazy busy weekend but I did get in 1 good hike and went swimming early Sunday morning. My housemates daughter left this morning for a 3 week backpacking trip through Europe before she starts her semester abroad in Ireland; we had a going away party for her and her friends and I didn't even have any of the cake! I am so proud of myself on that one because I usually cave in and have sweets. I've got my bag packed to go to Anchorage and see the surgeon; I leave Tuesday night since my appointment starts so early Wednesday. I've got a list of questions for him and the nutritionist and a copy of my food journal. I hope the appointments go ok!
Hope you all have a great day!
