Could you post a typical day's menu? Some of your symptoms are typical of RNY patients, such as the gurgling stomach (most likely food entering the intestines) and lack of appetite. Others, such as nausea and  feeling sick after eating could be related to what you are eating. For example, I get those symptoms after just a few bites of rice or pasta.

Are you just treating constipation as it occurs?  The pain in the colon could be related to constipation, which can happen even if you are going regularly. If you notice your own patterns, laxatives usually solve your issue.  Many post ops need to take stool softeners or magnesium supplements daily. The nausea could also be related to constipation.

This may sound silly but are you doing anything that may introduce extra air into your stomach, bowels, etc. Straws, carbonated beverages, gum?  I was having excruciating pain above my umbilical region that traveled all the way down. Happened three times. The third time I was in so much pain that I ended up in the ER (13 months post op-April of this year)and my doctor took me in for exploratory lap immediately. He did not find anything other than a couple of small adhesions which he was convinced did not cause the problem. He told me he believed that the pain was a result of excess air. Then it dawned on me...I was chewing gum like it was my career. I stopped and the pain never came back. Then not thinking my son offered me a piece of gum the other day when we were out. Chewed it for about an hour, and that pain reoccured later in the evening. It was fairly mild this time around but I knew as soon as it came on. Who knew!

Just wanted to pass it along in case. I hope whatever it is you can get some relief and definitive answers very soon.

Google SIBO...typical post op RNY. I follow diet free of FODMAP foods, low carbs.

I take 2 capfuls Miralax every day... Avoid foods I am allergic to, starches.. Since doing all of that- got my life back.

Diet is very restrictive...but doable. Living pain free, normal life - while maintaining weight loss - is worth the effort.

Do you still have your gall bladder?  A lot of these types of symptoms were resolved for me when I had it out earlier this year.
