Good morning!  Oh yeah?!  What's so good about it?!  LOL  It's raining here again.  And I think the temperature here in the office is set to "arctic".  And I forgot my coffee on the counter when I ran out of the house this morning.  I also forgot to put the load of laundry I did last night in the dryer, so I had to dig around in my closet for something to wear.  I HATE it when the outfit I've mentally planned is either dirty, or in this case, wet.  What else can I complain about today?  Oh yeah, I miss my lil' nugget.  But I did put together an awesome care package containing among other things, beef jerky, PB packets and pistachios.  The boy gets protein forward snacks when Mom's on the case.

What's eating you today?  I can't be the only one randomly *****ing here.  LOL

Time since surgery:  1 year, 3 weeks

B:  coffee, Yoplait Greek lemon blueberry and a 1/2 oz. Captain Crunch.  Why did I buy Captain Crunch?

S:  Click Mocha

L:  beef jerky, pork rinds and some sliced tomato and mozzarella

D:  omelet time!  I have a bunch of things in small quantities like green peppers, onions, cheddar, etc. that are going to get put to use.

Captain Crunch? Haha, that's a blast from the past!!

I am still back on the full liquids. Noticing that my carbs are much higher from the soy milk and protein powder than they were when I was on puréed food (mostly meats). Interesting, because I was in a stall my last week of full liquids, but then it started dropping right away when I moved on to the next stage.

Hmm, will be interesting to see if I stall again, now that I am back to liquids... Any suggestions for a lower carb liquid diet?

Anyway, today's plan is:

B- Vanilla Soy Milk and Matrix PB Protein

L- Kale, Blueberry, and Cherry "NutriBlast" with Unflavored Unjury

D- Vanilla Soy Milk and Chocolate Unjury and Caramel Torani Syrup

Snack- 1/2 c plain Greek Yogurt with Everything Bagel Seasoning Mix

Snack- 1/2 c 2% Cottage Cheese blended with Green Onions

I specifically buy Silk Unsweetened Soy Milk because of all the carbs in Vanilla.  It runs 80 Calories, 3g Carbs, 4g Fat, 7g Protein, 2g Fiber, and 1g Sugar in 1 cup.  Since I am mixing it with protein powder, the protein powder (or Torani syrup) covers the sweetness!

Interesting! I get my Soy Milk at Trader Joe's and I never noticed a plain option. I'll head to the regular grocery store. Thanks!!!

I've been able to find the Silk Unsweetened so far at our Walmart, Target, and a Texas-specific grocery called HEB. Pretty much if they do Silk, they should have Unsweetened in stock I hope! Good Luck!

(Also - FYI, I am SO JEALOUS that you have a TJ's! I miss that place so badly!)

Don't ask him. Just tell him. Say guess what I am down over a 100 pounds I could celebrate by eating something or I could get my nose pierced.

Don't do blue. It turns to green. Purple is a good one. Red is also. But blue always turns to green.
