Question!

I was actually going to post a similar question, so I'm glad I saw this!  I'm only two weeks out from surgery and my intake has ranged between 420-1,040 calories.  My nutritionist never gave me a number to try and go toward.

I have well over 200 pounds to lose, so I'm using this as a definite new starting point.  I won't see said nutritionist again until September 1st, but in the interim, I'm going to try to keep taking all my vitamins, hydrate, and of course have three protein shakes a day, which amounts to 420 calories.  I can allow myself one or two healthy food options in small amounts if I want to during the day (fruit, veggies), as long as they keep me under 800.  Once I see the nutritionist, she may have a different suggestion.

As far as working out, once I get a handle on that, I'm planning on keeping the calories the same.

Not sure if this helps, but thought I'd give my input!
