Me to. I would love to have a bloodhound. But they are so big.

Love the pups! Lily and I only got one mile in this am because it is raining and she has already bumped everything off the coffee table with her nose! Too much energy when she doesn't get to walk much for sure! Gotta love them though!

They are quite a handsome group!!! They don't look like they would cause any sort of havoc... they look quite innocent to me.

Highest weight - 440 lbs, Surgery weight - 395 lbs, Current weight - 291 lbs.

ZOMG I'M IN LOVE!!!  The only reason I never got a basset is because I know you can never have just 1.  But we are still about to get a new dog, and already have 2.  So i don't know who I am kidding.

I am glad I have the three. They are really good together. They are all about a year apart. The youngest one actually trained himself to go out.

Bassets have been a favorite since I was a kid. I always loved the hush puppy dog.

I totally agree with you.....your dogs are so cute.  I have 2 Shih Tzus and they too are adorable.  DH has a cat.  He's really cute but kind of like having a 2 year old kid.  He's into everythings.  I prefer him asleep.

DH came home from the hospital yesterday after a 2 week stay.  He had BP problems after knee replacement.

My BFF's 16 year old daughter had open heart surgery yesterday and thankfully is doing well.  The defect was found in a recent sports physical.  So, my stress level has lowered some with DH home and my BFF's daughter doing well.

I'm trying to stick with shakes during the day and a meal in the evening......protein and salad or veggies.

Breakfast:  Protein shake

Lunch:  Jerky

Snack:  Iced protein coffee

Dinner:  Pork chop; salad

Glad your husband is doing well. And your friends daughter. I would be stressed to the max.
