What's On Your Thursday Menu, RNYers?
Please let me know how the mahi mahi Caribbean burgers are. I wanted to buy them last time that I was at Sam's but I was afraid I wouldn't like the spiciness. Which, is kind of silly because I have found since surgery, I like more spicy items more so than before.
Also, yay oh the NSV. Doesn't it feel good to just say NO!?! Also, the bread/snack aisle won't be as intoxicating after surgery. Used to be nothing smelled better than bread and cakes and I find it not so appetizing anymore... sometimes even nauseating. But, that's okay!!
Good Morning! Enjoy your 1/2 day off and of course shopping. As for on the go protein breakfast ideas-do you like the P3 packs?

Morning! Shopping is my addiction, I love it. Not just for clothes, but everything. I haven't really been shopping for clothes much at all over the last year or so because I yoyo so much and have sizes 16-24 in my closet/boxes. I am just crossing my fingers I will get to those 18s sitting in there by my vacation in 5 weeks! At least the scale is moving again...I found out the more i eat the more I loose (at least for now!) So that means 6 meals a day for me...

I am up to about 50ml water these days. Thats pretty good for me :)
Went to dinner at my brother's last night and had some very yummy food. First my sister-in-law made octopus grilled and I have to say it was delicious. I have had Squid, but I don't think I ever had Octopus before. It was the consistency of eating a scallop. She also made some grilled lemon chicken and curried quinoa. For dessert she made an ice cream float, - Sugar free for me, Sugar free Sprite with No sugar added Vanilla Breyers ice cream in a mini 5oz Beer (sampling) pilsner glass. Small spoon and Red striped straw included. It was heaven. I may have to get me some of these mini glasses. Tiny but felt totally decadent.
B: Tea, 1/2 lite English muffin, poached egg (170 calories/18g protein)
S: Fit frappe Mocha (195 calories/28g protein)

S: cold corn soup (100c/5g protein) (leftover from last night too)
D: Leftover lemon Chicken, quinoa, tomatoes (300c/28g)
S: Simply 100 key lime yogurt and 1 1/2 tsp whipped cream cheese mixed in (125c/12g protein) -if needed
My surgeon doesn't have us counting total calories for the day, but when I look at foods I do try and plan a good calorie to protein ratio. So I thought I'd think that out too for a change.
