I just started them yesterday, and I had labs drawn last week that were all normal within range, even with the mal-absorption still going on for me as a relative newbie.  My WLS Doc draws them every two mths so ill post the new results as well but itll be a while...

Well no one can force anyone to use them or not.  I personally am willing to try it and be a guinea pig because I KNOW i won't take the vitamins that I need to by mouth, so I am gonna give this a try.  Those who have tried it so far have seen that it is doing ok, and I am satisfied with their response after running it by others in the pharma industry.  There is certainly science I don't understand, but if unbiased experts tell me that their response is reasonable, and that it is the common way drugs are delivered onto the patch platform, I am gonna be ok with it.  But that doesn't mean everyone else needs to.

I have my next labs drawn later this month.  And each month until I am 6 months out, then every 2 months till 1 year.  I am definitely going to be releasing my results so others can for their own opinions.

As for the protein thing, that does sound fishy.  I'm not sure how they can claim a protein to have 0 calories.  I will be doing research on this as well.  But I don't have a problem with protein so it is not as an emergent need to figure it out.

Reading through this post makes me realize I must be the only person in the world who enjoys taking chewable vitamins. I think they're tasty and look forward to them as my daily treats.

I don't really enjoy taking my vitamins and supplements, except my calcium...it's calciyummm, but I don't mind them either.

What vites are you taking that are so very tasty?

The ones I really look forward to are my Celebrate calcium tabs (the orange and berry ones are my favorites). My vitamin C is pretty yummy too. It's just whatever GNC had cheapest that week.

Awesome! Thanks for the info...I haven't tried the Celebrate or the Bariatric Advantage multis. I just take generic Centrum silvers, or the Centrum Silver chewables for my multi.

I am baffled when WLSers say they forget to take or don't like their chewables...figure it's a clue I'm the true, tried, and troubled addict.

LOL, Me too!!  I look forward to my vitamins/calcium/iron -- and in fact, I've actually eaten an extra or two out of greedy food addict gluttony ---so the whole patch thing is beyond me, too.  My chewable supplements are treats to me.

God, that's so pathetic...
