Something must weigh at least as much as its ingredients.

What I am saying is that it might weight that in the mix BEFORE being liquidfied and put into the patch.  When states change, weights change.  Its just an idea.  Also, as to the company phone number and seeming reputable, it might also be that they are a small company.  as a small business owner that looks a lot larger online than we are, our phones go to voicemail.  We answer them when we have an opportunity.  It doesn't make us illegitimate, it makes us small and busy.  Best to find out the information before coming to a conclusion.

State changes do not change weights.  A pound of ice still weighs a pound when it melts.

I don't know. Some people on here have eaten a pound of chocolate, and yet lost four pounds.

Mass does not change, but weight can.  1 fluid ounce of water does not weigh the same when it is changed to ice in a controlled contained environment, however there is an amount of evaporation that occurs and the weight does reduce.  When it is changed to a gas it is still 1 fluid ounce of gas, however it definitely weighs much less.

this is brilliant theory... but as a physicist - with MoS in physics I disagree... interesting nevertheless...

Mass does not change - # of particles doe snot change - so as long as you stay on the  same spot on Earth - the weight does not change.  Unless the moon gets closer..  Trust me on that.

if you liquify things - melting - does not change weight. Unless you don't count the vapor. Volume can change . Weight does not.  If you dissolve things in other things - the weight should increase by the  amount of the liquid. Law of physics ally EVERY TIME.

You say you disagree but in some ways you just reiterated what I said.

As you can see from a very quick search on google that everyone can do if they would like to look it up:

"1) Mass is a measurement of the amount of matter something contains, while Weight is the measurement of the pull of gravity on an object. 2)Mass is measured by using a balance comparing a known amount of matter to an unknown amount of matter."

As I have said, and you have said, so we both agree...  Mass does not change.  But weight does as states change.  Going from a solid to a liquid usually does not, however when going from a liquid to a solid there are time that weight DOES change as does mass since sometimes particles are lost to evap.  And when you got from a liquid to a gas, the weight most definitely changes, while mass in a contained environment stays the same.  Basic high school chemistry teaches you these basics.

That being said, I do not have the nanotech expertise to discuss what this is doing or how it is reducing it.  Unless they are removing particles from the vitamins they start with using nanotechnology, which is what my husband is thinking might be going on.  But I and not an expert at that.

I'm glad we can agree.

bless your heart......really... talk to your DH about that... i am lost for words... maybe he can explain to you.

BTW - if you lose particles -then no longer you have the same amount of mass - and the weight only changes because your mass has changed. Unless you move to space, or the moon, same mass=same weight...

The label show mass, not weight. 1 gr is a mass of the element - not weight... weight would be 1 Grf

I always like going to the museum of science. They have a scale that tells me what I would weigh on the moon.
