How long did you stay on protein drinks?

Four years out, I still slam a shake a couple times a week. If I didn't, I'd never get all my protein in.

I also have a Pure Protein chocolate deluxe bar once a week or so.  It's the lowest sugar alcohol bar I can find that's still edible (I don't do well with sugar alcohols, ew).

I'm 6 years out and still have a hot protein drink for breakfast every morning.  There are many days when my pouch doesn't like solid food and I will have plain greek yogurt (I like Fage 0%) with a scoop of vanilla whey isolate protein powder with some SF syrup.

My goal is at least 80 grams of protein a day and if I can't get it from solid food, then I use RTD or powered protein.

Why is he restricting calories?  My surgeon only asked me to concentrate on protein intake and to make sure I stayed hydrated.

I used protein shakes for breakfast for years because it is so simple.  A protein shake and a banana, and my vits and supps.

Stop worrying about "breaking a stall"--your body will have plateaus.  You'll lose some, rest, lose some, etc.,  While you are "stalled" you'll find that you get smaller.

If you can't stop stressing about weight loss, kick that Demon Scale out of your house.  There is no reason why you should let your life and mood be determined by the number on an appliance.
