What's on Your Friday Menu, RNYers?
Good Morning!
Awesome to hear you broke the 4 week stall, Viking!
Today is my 11-hour day at work, and I am so incredibly tired. Hoping that this new habit of eating regularly (instead of 1 meal/day) will help keep my energy up!
My employer sent me a free FitBit Zip and I finally learned yesterday how to sync it with the FitBit app, which syncs with MyFitnessPal! Time for my lil' friend to come with me everywhere so I can start keeping track of my walking! Now if only I can take less than 20 minutes to get the harness on my 1y/o puppy so we can walk together!
Revision from Lap-Band to RNY Surgery Status: Hopefully only ~1 month Pre-op! Learning good habits now!
B: Extreme Milk Chocolate Whey Protein Shake
S: Babybel Light Cheese
L: Slow Cooker Chili (Currently 355 calories, 13g fat, 27g protein – when I make the next batch, going with ground turkey instead of ground beef/sausage so it’ll be much healthier!)
S: 1oz Jack Links Beef Jerky
D: Chicken Fajitas try #2! (My chicken wasn’t thawed enough yesterday to make my fajitas, so trying again today!)
TOTALS: Calories: 844 | Carbs: 58 (It’s those beans!) | Fat: 25 | Protein: 108 | Fiber: 15 | Sugar: 22
Actually reviewing my chili recipe some more… are beans really that bad? I know they’re carbs/starch but do the pros outweigh the cons?

I'm coming off my stall too! Woohoo! I had talked to my NUT about it and she said to look at things from a 4 week period instead of a day to day or even week to week since I was a female. I'm on track to be on track for the month when I look at it that way so I'm trying to adjust my thinking accordingly.
3 1/2 months since surgery
B-scrambled egg with cheese and ham
S-grapefruit
L-?
S-jello temptation
D-fajitas without the tortilla
I'm leaving bright and early for Nauvoo IL--taking my older kids to see some Mormon church history with a friend and her family. And then spending the rest of next week with my parents with all the kids. So ready for a week off!!
AV so great you broke your stall. I had a little movement today so I am hoping. I wait for it to register 2 days in a row on the scale to claim a new number on my ticker. :). I find at this point many weeks I won't lose and then 2 weeks ago I lost 6 pounds in one week. ??? You can't figure this stuff out. You didn't post Photo Friday (BTW still waiting AV for some surgiversary photos) but I took one this morning. I am in my uniform of bathing suit and dress....ready to jump in the pool at any moment. :) later I have to go teach a painting class.... I hate dragging all the supplies around in this heat. I have a rollie cart, but it is heavy and the Library I teach in the entrance is the equivalent of being on the second floor and I have to drag it up a huge ramp.
B: Tea, leftover healthy Ambrosia - leftover from my ladies night last night. (I didn't make it)
S: Peanut Butter Protein Drink with added cacao nibs
L: Tuna, Mary's gone crackers
S: Salad with Feta
D: TJ Korean BBQ chicken sausage, yellow squash
S: (If needed) Chobani simply 100 Lime greek yogurt

I forgot all about Photo Friday! LOL And you are looking so great! I did post some surgiversary pictures a few weeks ago, but they were super small. I have no idea why everything I post looks like a thumbnail, but here's me as a land mass 2 summers ago, and earlier this month. And that's me and my baby boy at the lake on July 4.
Sweet... BTW did you ever get those microwave Pork Rinds?
