I cook, grill and bake like crazy... but then again I have 3.5 teenagers who eat constantly.  I just eat what I can, and pick out what I can't.

I have always loved to cook and still do.  I make healthier choices now.

I wasn't an avid cook before surgery, but now I ENJOY cooking for my family! Great healthy wholesome foods. They are enjoying this new journey with me, if I can't eat it, it's not in my cupboards!

I marvel at those who can cook and bake while staying on track. It feels like it'd be a train wreck waiting to happen here.  Besides, I like having WLS as a reason to get out of work cooking creates like washing dirty dishes.

I still cook three meals a day -- can, bake all our bread, yogurt, and even our butter.  I like to cook even post surgery.  Eating and cooking are two separate activities!

So if they are two separate activities, does that mean you bake the bread and then just look at it then?  No can do.

Yes.  I bake bread twice a week, make waffles and pancakes and cookies for lunches -- I haven't eaten any of it since 12/13/2013.  I'm a good addict--- if I did, I'd be 344 lbs again. For whatever reason, cooking is not my trigger.  I've got plenty of triggers, however!  Eating even a little bit of carbs is mine -- but making them is not.
