Suddenly retaining fluid - edited

any ideas what I could do to break this water retention streak my body has been on for several days?  I'm drinking a lot of water and have daily coffee which should help, but I'm puffy and my ankles are slightly swollen. TIA

also, what could be causing this?  I don't eat a lot of salt, it's not woman related, I have no clue!

Are your carbs levels elevated?  When I have a heavier carb day (over 100 grams) I will literally be up several pounds the next day and it often takes half a week to get back to where I was.

No, it's definitely fluid. I had problems with it years ago, but nothing about my life, lifestyle or body is the same now.
