What's On Your Monday Menu, RNYers?
The only problem I can see that is different NOW then when I did it about 5 years ago. I'm pretty sure I have plantar fasciitis in my right heel now. So I don't know how that will affect running (HAHAHA who am I kidding....my "running" is everyone else's fast walking....whatever).
I was HOPING that while losing weight the heel would get better.....and it has somewhat. I guess I will have to see how jogging/running goes.
I know I should see a doctor, but I REALLY cannot afford the damn orthodics that they have you buy. My mom has plantar Fasciitis as well (my rail thin mother) and her orthodics for her shoes were like $300. And insurance doesn't cover any of it! UGH
I pressed my doctor to recommend and over the counter non-RX insoles. There are some quality ones out there for about $40-50. My insurance specifically excludes RX orthodics, so I feel your pain. I have discovered quality shoes and inserts sure do make a significant difference. If you get new shoes go to a running store that can watch you run and fit you for something specific to your conditions.
It was raining here this morning, supposed to be in the 80's with chance of rain the rest of the day. We will see how that turns out.
We don't have cable at our house, but we DO have the internet. If the kids wants to watch TV they just stream something from Netflix or Amazon. The grown ups don'****ch much TV.
