I will challenge you on laziness. Last summer I bought a set of inexpensive wine glasses to use by the pool. Apparently they are taller than my regular glasses and don't fit on the shelf I like to use for glassware. So, rather tha find somewhere else to put them I just leave them in the dishwasher. I figure one day I'll open the dishwasher and the glasses will be gone because they've just disintegrated!  Now THAT'S lazy!!

Here I am again and I'm still bummed, but I'm trying to pull myself out of the doldrums.  Tests done on hubby yesterday didn't show anything that would cause the BP problems.  He was sitting up in a chair this morning and hoped to go to the gym.

I stepped on the scale and it was up .6......grrrrrrrr.  I've not had much appetite and with DH not home I have no desire to cook.  In my old life I would eat my self thru the stress.  I can't think of anything that sounds good to eat.

Breakfast:  Protein pancakes

Lunch:  2 turkey sticks; 2 cheese sticks

Snack:  almonds; peanut butter protein shake

Dinner:  ??

Do you have a recipe for the Protein Pancakes?

Of course I can't do bready things yet because of my Lap-Band, but I am REALLY looking forward to the day when that thing is gone and I can have small portions of breads again!  (Even looking at pancakes right now would cause me to have a blockage... but soon!)

Here is the recipe for the Protein Pancakes.  I got it from theworldaccordingtoeggface.com.

Shelly's Cinnamon Churro Ricotta Pancakes

1/2 cup ricotta

1 egg, beaten

1 t. cinnamon

1 T. sugar free syrup like Toroni or DaVinci (vanilla, caramel or brown sugar cinnamon)

3 T. multigrain pancake mix

Mix all ingredients together.  If using part skim ricotta, drain first.  Spray pan with non-stick spray.  Cook pancakes o low till golden flip, pat flat, coo****il done.  Serve each pancake with a drizzle of warm sugar free maple syrup or sugar free chocolate sauce.

These are great without any topping.  Makes 8 pancakes.

These can be frozen between was paper or kept in the fridge for up to 2 days and reheated.  Microwave for 25 seconds.  Good cold too.
